As they were walking, Elisabeth showed Mavis all the gems and diamonds she had collected over the years. Mavis was amazed by how beautiful they were and started to appreciate the beauty of nature in a new way.

Mavis

Once upon a time, in a small village called Littleton, there lives a mischievous little girl named Mavis. She has curly brown hair that always seems to be tangled, and bright blue eyes that sparkles with mischief. Mavis is known for causing trouble wherever she goes, but she also has a talent for knitting.
One day, Mavis decided to knit a scarf for her best friend, Elisabeth. She rummaged through her mother’s yarn basket and found a beautiful shade of pink. Mavis loves the colour pink because it reminds her of cotton candy and bubble gum.
As she was knitting, Mavis had an idea. She wanted to make the scarf extra special for Elisabeth by adding some mischief to it. She decided to knit in some bells that would jingle every time Elisabeth moved her head.
Mavis giggled to herself as she finished knitting the scarf. She couldn’t wait to see Elisabeth’s face when she saw what she had done. When Elisabeth received the scarf, she loved it and put it on right away. But as she walked, the bells jingled loudly, and soon the whole village could hear them.
Mavis thought it was hilarious, but Elisabeth was embarrassed and asked Mavis to remove the bells. Mavis felt bad for making her friend uncomfortable and quickly unravelled the scarf to remove the bells.
From that day on, Mavis learnt that it was important to use her knitting skills for good, and not just for causing mischief. She made Elisabeth a new scarf without any bells, and the two girls continued to be best friends, going on many more adventures together.
